As we have heard, some foremost Nigerian Airlines have sacked their staff or given them the option of a 40% pay cut.
Recently, Air Peace airline sacked about 50 pilots while Virgin Atlantic laid off more pilots and cabin crew members after offering them a pay cut of up to 60%, around May.

This development isn’t what we bargained for at the beginning of the year, but it’s rather unfortunate that we are here. Even UK based airlines like British Airways have also towed the same line. The numerous individuals that have been put out of work, even the airlines that might probably be in debt as well.
