It’s been a really rough couple of weeks for everyone. No matter how unaffected or disconnected you think you are, the events of the past 2 weeks especially last week, has had everyone proud at first, then sad, numb, angry and we keep getting angrier by the day as more events unfold and more people understand the kind of joke we call Life in Nigeria.
Well, just a few words to get us back on track from Billy Cox:
Life will only change when you become more committed to your dreams than you are to you comfort zone.
And that’s that! We complain of the quality of life we are living each day and yet we recycle the same old habits and old practices, year in year out. How will you get different results?
When we take the time to study how the world has changed, especially the corporate world and entrepreneurship, we would learn to adjust our methods and practices to suit what our audience want, not always what we think is best for them. Remember that majority of our audience are people who may not be Gen Z or millennial, but they have picked up some attributes of this ”coconut head” generation and these are the kinds of bosses, recruiters, clients and customers we have to deal with on a daily basis.
There is never a time too late. Don’t let that be your excuse. No matter how inferior you think you are, just START! Fact is, the earlier the better. Even though it isn’t that bad in old age, but it’s way better to have tasted a better life when you’re young and vibrant.
Get to work on improving the quality of your life and always remain positive for the best because you are definitely what/who you THINK you are.
