DO NOT SLEEP ON OPPORTUNITIES.

There is a proverb that says, ”A goat that dies in a barn was never killed by hunger”.
Opportunities abound all around us. If you choose to ignore them, then it’s on you. The only reason you may not have access to opportunities could be because of your environment or the kind of people you associate with. In fact, you don’t have to have wealthy friends before your eyes can be opened to the endless opportunities around you, you just have to have knowledgeable friends.
A while ago, it was probably impossible for some people to leave the country. In fact everyone wanted to go to a particular country abroad, and it seemed pretty difficult and impossible to either study or work outside Nigeria. But today, opportunities to leave abound everywhere. Other countries whose economies are faring better than ours could offer better opportunities for growth and financial stability.
Even in your careers, everyone knows the skills that are in demand this period. Learning these skills have been made easy by online educational facilities, so you can’t say you don’t have access to these things.
Social Media has become a leveller sort of. As long as you’re threading carefully and smartly, there are many influential people you can meet on Social Media that you may not have had the opportunity to meet physically.
This new week, please endeavour to work hard AND smart in whatever you’re doing. Take opportunities as they come and give yourself a little credit sometimes.
