So today on Twitter, the topic of discussion was on females and males who believe there are people that could be out of one’s league. Let’s relate it to the corporate world.
First off, being in someone’s “league”, means you’re financially and socially adequate to associate closely with someone or a group of people of a higher social strata. While the phrase is commonly used in reference to being in a romantic relationship, we are going to relate it to the career space.
For clarity, you may not have to be very financially buoyant to cop a great job at a great company, but you have to be intellectually sound to be considered in “their league”.
Intellect requires skill, experience and wit. And these are key ingredients for you to be found worthy to be employed in a well known and renowned organization.
Get yourself the right education, the right experiences, the right companions and train your mind to think critically. Then you could definitely be in the “league” of great organizations.
